Amazon Express is a 67-meter, private, transoceanic motor yacht. Originally built as a deep-sea fishing boat by Arsenale Venezia in 1966, it was converted into a motor yacht in two successive renovations in Norway in 1984 and at the Arsenale Venezia in 1994, the latter shown here. The boat can accommodate ten guests in full comfort. The design, conceived with the naval architect Espen Oino, required extensive alterations to the vessel’s superstructures and the rebuilding of most of the interiors. The color scheme and the overall image were designed to lend the boat the appearance of both a research vessel and a leisure craft.
