Ritva Dan was one of 3 sisterships. The others were Saima Dan: 1962 1975, after 1975 named Kostas K. In 1984 reported still in service. Brita Dan: delivered 1961, sank 7.11.1964 near Rauma Finland with the loss of 3 lives.

My father was captain on Ritva Dan in a short period, my mother and I were passengers.

The information about Ritva Dan comes from J.Lauritzen 1884 -1984 , written by Soeren Thorsoe 1984, Published by the World Ship Society
