Eider (left), is passed by the Sandviken as Sandviken passes Wharf 12 of the Welland Canal, 12:33 p.m. 21 May 2005. The Eider was tied up due to a port state control deficiency.
Eider had a cargo of 21,346.450 MT of Canola Seed from Thunder Bay, bound for Mexico, and is due to stop at Montreal to top off her load. IMO 9285938, built 2004.
Sandviken had a cargo of 21,912.300 MT of Peas and 2,628.500 MT of Lentils, also from Thunder Bay, and will be stopping at Sorel, Quebec. IMO 8504882, formerly Petka (see photos by Jeff Thoreson of Petka).
