Looks as though she has had a rebuild, especially around the bridge area.

I have just posted an image of BENASQUE in Leith on 20/4/1978.

Interesting one Erik!,

According to her IMO she's the former BENASQUE, one of the six AHT's for the Spanish company Cia. Hispano-Americana de Offshore S.A., Santander. Never saw BENASQUE but saw her sister vessel CAZORLA a couple of times at Flushing and this one sure doesn't look like it.

Original vessels where not open stern as far as I know.

There where two other sistervessels, ASAY D. GUIDRY and JOHN L. GUIDRY which are the same as CAZORLA.

Build in 1977 at Astilleros del Atlantico S.A., Santander, Spain, 7860 BHP, 89 tons bp.

Cheers,

Wim
