GULF RELIANCE is seen anchored off Apapa/Lagos, Nigeria on 4th January 1976

Formerly Hain's TREMEADOW, built at Glasgow in 1958, she was purchased by Gulf Shipping Lines (Gokal) in 1973 and renamed RELIANCE EXPRESS

Late in 1975 she was renamed GULF RELIANCE and loaded with a cargo of cement at a Black Sea port, arriving off Lagos on 29th August 1975. She eventually discharged her cargo at Calabar and sailed for Santander on 7th June 1976.

She arrived at Kaohsiung on 2.5.80 to be scrapped
