Description:

Here we see the rusting remains of the once proud Soviet Kara class (project 1134B) cruiser Nicolayev. Almost derelict, the 9,900t vesselis in Cape Town on the way to the breakers yard.

Built at the 61 Kommunards Shipyard in Nicolayev in the early 70's.
