Description:

AN HING was photographed by Gerhard Fiebiger at Hong Kong in 1984.

Built by Van Duijvendijk at Lekkerkerk in 1962 for Booth Line of Liverpool, she was named SPENSER until 1967, then CUTHBERT. In 1964 she was lengthened from 100.3m to 109m and her tonnage increased to 1869gt.

Sold to Associated Levant Lines (T.Gargour et Fils) of Lebanon in 1977, she was renamed BAROUK. Resold in 1982 to THAI HING Shipping Company, and placed under the vanuatu flag, she was renamed AN HING.

Becoming HAI WIN in 1986, she was, according to Miramar, reported as being left derelict at Ho Chi Minh City in May 1996. See Markus Berger's photograph:

Hi Malcolm,
crazy shot, the ship seems to have a new bulge bow, but i you look a second time, the bow is from another vessel behind.
