Description:

Tug Kimberly Poling tied up at Citgo Linden, January 2008.

It surprised me to see a Poling tug (when this photo was taken it was my first time seeing one), since the rest of the Poling fleet consists of VERY old harbor tank vessels, such as the Kristin Poling, John Caddell, and Coral Queen.

Its a beautiful tug, I hope it comes to Prov someday.

The company is slowly expanding, I believe they just recently had a brand new double hull barge constructed

K-Sea used to have a tanker like the John Caddell, I forgot its name, but it was tied up at Staten Island, I suspect it was waiting for the cutters torch. It was the "XXXXXX Trader" (I don't remember the full name of it).

The only K-Sea tankers I know of are the Great Gull and the Great Lakes.

The Kristin Poling is the only Poling vessel ive ever seen....I have some photos of it on here

Great Lakes was reportedly sold to a foreign company.

JET TRADER!!! That was it. We tied up to her hulk at Staten Island one night while the DBL 101 was getting her tanks cleaned. What a sexy old lady she was.

Wonder if they scrapped her yet?
