MattyBoy the 4 US vessels eventually scrapped the Tuxedo Royale last week was towed back there for total scrapping, see my pic on http://www.shipspotting.com/gallery/photo.php?lid=3056379same.

What happened to those ghost ships of the US Navy? I remember something in the news years ago but nothing since.

I don't think you mean they are awaiting decommissioning, because they've all already been decommissioned. I think you mean, they are awaiting to be dismantled or scrapping.
