Although classed by Equasis as a crude oil tanker, this ship, along with her sisters in this series of Russian ice tankers, has fully coated (epoxy) cargo tanks and is therefore classed as a product tanker on this site. Coated tanks are required for the carriage of "clean" oil products but not for crude oil. That is not to say, however, that these ships do not ever carry crude oil.
