Thank you Mr Lenaud,I never knew your Dad as such,as I always sailed on deck,we may have been on the same ship but the deck and engine dept had their own times and watches and had their types of work to perform. The Sea Transport was one hell of a ship,I am surprised she is not still running today,it was during a run in 1968 on the Gulf after gas freeing the tanks on our way to the drydock in Halifax with high seas and the fumes that I got a good dose of seasickness,I dont know who was making the most noise, the seagulls or me with the dry heaves but I finished my duties.I love those pics, had some many memories of those days,I finished my days on the Great Lakes in 1972 on the package freighter English River.I still cant get them times out of my blood,so many shipmates,so many that are no longer with us,so many memories. Thanks again, please keep in touch.

Tompenney, my dad took it. He was on and off her (and the River and Oil Transport)from 1960 to 1967. He was 4th, 2nd and in 1967, Chief Eng.
