Description:
1955-57. The Wahcondah waiting to help the Steve Ahern after it went aground near Belcher Islands in Hudson's Bay. The Wahcondah (Ahern Shipping) was headed back to Montreal. They accompanied The Steve Ahern to Gr. Whale River (Kuujuarrapik). It made it back just in time. This is on Nov 25th. A damaged rudder and prop forced them to Great Whale river....
Built 1903 in Port Glasgow, Scotland by Russell & Co., Ltd. Scrapped Mexico 1968
