Description:

A Jim Orr shot of the BP coastal tanker heading under the Forth Bridges on her way to Grangemouth in July 1984 which he has allowed me to show.
She was built at Appledore in 1980 being named to commemmorate two of the famous aircraft from the Hawker stable, Hunter and (BP) Harrier.
BP HUNTER became Metcalfe's MICHAEL M in 1991, TEES FISHER in 1999 and MERCURY T in 2005 under which name she still sails. Thanks to Jim's copious notes for this
