Ex RCN Oberon class sub Onandaga, with tug Jerry Newberry, at HMC Dockyard, Halifax, July 9, 2009. They are awaiting fairer weather to begin the tow to Rimouski, QC, where the sub will become part of the Musee de la Mer at Pointe-au-Pere.

HMCS Terra Nova.......$10.00! I bet the tow bill from Nova Scotia to Vancouver would be outrageous....and the millions would be hard to swing!

The museum bought Onandaga for $4, so perhaps you should put in an offer!
(Then they had to raise $3 million to build a berth and exhibits, pay for towing, etc., etc., - so read the fine print before you sign anything.)

I'm so glad at least one Canadian Oberon is being preserved! Now, if only something could be done for the two destroyers in the background. Send one to Vancouver so I could see it!
