Description:

HMCS Terra Nova DDE 259 now decommissioned and destined as a dive site in the St Lawerance River near Cornwall being shifted from berth at Naval Jetty Lima,Halifax on 27th May 2008.
Built jointly by Burrard Dry Dockand VMD in 1959.
De-commissioned 1997.
Displacement 2,900 tons.
LOA 366 as built B 42 Draught 13.5 (ft)
Steam turbines (2) at 30,000SHP 29 knots.
Crew: 210
