And I can see only the UTE S here. :-( (Well, OOCL MOSCOW´s sister AMALTHEA is a regular in Finland, and actually the MOSCOW has visited once in Kotka (only a night call though).

Well, I agree that Ute S isn't that exciting... but you've got a whole lot of vessels at Kotka I'd love to see at Hamburg: the great "Gracht"-family and especially those cool RoRos like Genca.
Though I guess when you've seen Genca for the xth time you feel about her as I feel when seeing for example OOCL Moscow. There comes a point when you start thinking: "Oh no, not that one again!" :-D

Well, some Grachts visit Hamburg like SCHIPPERSGRACHT in July. About those ro-ros & specially GENCA. I think about 4 photos of her is coming in the next few days. Saw her departure yesterday. :-D

Speaking about the ships I see every week or quite often, I try to be selective. If there´s nothing special happened on the vessel (like some new detail paintwork) and I have already enough good photos of the ship, I pass it. But if there´s a possibility to catch her in good conditions, I most probably take some photos and here probably replace the older ones by them. Like I did yesterday with the SCHELDEGRACHT.

That's the way I try to handle it, too.
But the more vessels you have photographed, the harder it gets to tell of which vessels you stll need better shots or photos taken from a different angle etc. :-D

I saw you did put some of my photos in the category "shipping". I have yesterday wanted to do so, but there is no main category "shipping" so, I did again just put it in the category of where the ship, which can be seen in whole, would be put in.
Hope that is o. k. :-D

I sent you a PM about it, Cornelia.

Bin jetzt mal so neugierig..
