Description:

Mobil Oil's coastal tanker LUBCHEM is seen in the River Mersey off Birkenhead on 2nd June 1997.

Built at Gijon in 1973 as MOBIL LUBCHEM, her name had been shortened in 1991 and she subsequently transferred from UK to Isle of Man flag.

In 1998 she became LADY CAMILLA, still under the Isle of Man flag, owned by BR Marine A/S of Copenhagen who traded her around the coast of South Africa.

Equasis indicates that she was sold to Nigeria in 2003 and that in April 2004 she was renamed SEA PEARL, owned by AL-DAWOOD SHIPPING LINES of Apapa but flagged to the Seychelles.
