Description:

Berthed at the old Corporation Jetty, Southend, 2/83.

She was originally ItNS ARSELLA (M.5451), second of the Italian "Aragosta" Class Inshore Mine Sweepers.

She arrived in the UK (Pounds) in 1976. In 1977 she did some film work (hence the dummy name). In 1979 she went for breaking Up at Southend.

The Old Ferry FOLGEFONN in the background are now back in the fjords in Norway beeing put back to her former glory.

Forgot to mention. The movie she starred in was 'The Greek Tycoon'(1978) also starring Anthony Quinn.

Note the old Norwegian ferry FOLGEFONN in the background. Built 1938, 197 grt, she was operated by Hardanger Sumhordlandske D/S.

She became the clubhouse for Erith Yacht Club and is still moored on the Thames at Erith. I believe the are plans to preserve her and return her to Norway.

Looks like an Ex RN HAM CLASS minesweeper possibly Ex HMS LEDSHAM.
