Tilbury to Gravesend passenger ferry (though you could take your motorbike too) seen leaving Tilbury Landing Stage on 18/2/90.
Edith and her sister Catherine were long serving on this route though the popular tale was that mile for mile it was cheaper to travel on the QE2 :-D
