Description:

Atlantic Superior under construction at Collingwood Shipyards, Collingwood Ontario, sometime during 1981 or early 1982. Shortly after this photo was taken the vessel was towed to Thunder Bay, where the bow was attached to the ship. Photographer unknown, photo from my collection.

Thanks for this one Jeff this one is truely rare indeed.I,ll send this one to my Dad he worked there in the 40,s before the war in the mold loft.Along with Grandad also as a carpenters apprentice.Grandad was a master carpenter at the yard here.Dad grew up in Collingwood.Thanks for posting this wonderfull photo well done.[i][size=small][color=0033FF][font=Helvetica]Regards Jimmy[/font][/color][/size][/i] :-D 8-) :-D
