I train on this vessel every summer from 5 to 10 days at a time (for the past 4-6 years). She's still in great shape, and is a great ship to train aboard. It's great because we cadets (11-18 yrs) get to run this vessel as though we are the only ones aboard. The officer's and senior cadet's are there to give the "younger/not so experienced cadets" instruction, and to help out. Plus, the Scuba training, and various other certifications/trainings available are endless.

This is a U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps training ship based in Mount Clemens, Michigan so should be in the training ship category. Ex US Navy YP-673.
