Heykur & Falkur collided on July 5th 2008. It happened at sea. No one was injured. No word about how it happened, but the visibility was poor - dense fog.
Falkur was left with a large hole in the side under the waterline. The cargo hold was flooded and the engine room was partially flooded.
The weather was very good at the time. On the pictures you see the ships arriving Tórshavn, Faroe Islands and later on the slip at Tórshavn shipyard.
