|Newbuilding at Atsalakis yards, Perama, Greece on April 13, 2004. IMO 9257735.
She was ordered by Tomasos Brothers Inc., Piraeus in 2001. In July 2004 she was renamed SONIA and delivered to Tomasos Transporto & Tourism / TTT Lines, Naples for Naples - Olbia service, but suffered main engine failure very soon and was laid up in Naples. In October 2004 renamed back to ADAMANTIOS KORAIS and in November SONIA again. In December 2004 chartered to the Government of Trinidad & Tobago for Port of Spain - Scarborough (Tobago) service. In August 2005 transferred to Achieva Shipping, Nassau and the charter to Trinidad & Tobago Gvmt ended in January 2006. In April 2006 chartered to Balearia, Spain for Barcelona - Ibiza run, in August 2006 sold to Eurolineas Maritimas, Balearia, Spain and renamed SONIA X. In September 2006 sold to British Columbia Ferries (BC Ferries), Vancouver. In December 2006 arrived Victoria Shipyard, British Columbia, Canada for refit. Renamed NORTHERN ADVENTURE in February 2007 and operates now on the route Prince Rupert - Port Hardy.
