Lake Michigan Contractor's equipment at Erie, October 1998. In the center of the photograph is tug JAMES HARRIS. To the right, the bow of the tug PEACH STATE can be seen, and behind the James Harris is a dredge that worked in Erie throughout 1998 and 1999. To the left, the starboard stern quarter of an overturned scow can be seen. The scow had, the night before this photo was taken, overturned with a full load of gravel about five miles west of Erie. The tugs Capt. Barnaby and James Harris had been towing the scow, and managed to get it to Erie where it was eventually righted.

It looks like a painting composition.
The tug looks very old, but wel maintained.
Good thing you posted this one, it's a story in itself
