Tug Elizabeth, on its way from Wareham, Massachusetts, to new owners in Detroit, stops at Erie for fuel, 7:03 pm 29 May 2003.

The tug is owned by Paul Vassall of Ortonville, Michigan. Built at Mobile, Alabama in 1936, it is 61.5 feet long, and 17.1 feet wide. At the time of this photograph the tug was wearing the colors of her former owner, the Wareham Steamship Company of Wareham, Massachusetts, and it still wears those colors.
