yes, I agree, but as it seems today you can lose more money with a working ship than with a ship in lay-up...
Once I read that it's cheaper to transport tulip bulbs from the Netherlands to Australia and bring them back when they've grown than to built a new greenhouse in the Netherlands.
Don't know for sure if that's true but I can imagine that it is.
