Nice shot Marie-Anne, I have to agree with Cornelia though, a job for you with the paint brush.

You both are right Ken.
Let's all meet up and paint a ship!
Won't that be a nice meeting to have?

Marie-Anne

Being such a rustbucket and being named after the country where the company comes from tststs :-D That's not what I would call, representing the country very well, what a shame ! 8-)

Maybe that is why a lot of IRAN ships have been renamed lately.
I think most of these ships are in a very bad state.

Ships in a bad state and a state, that is - hm.. can I say in a bad state as well, plus as well under some embargo does probably not help the thing. I read they rename them all something that does not say "Iran" on them, don't think it is that they do not want to be known as on the containers you can of course still read IRISL.

I have seen a few of them being renamed to something with sea in it.
And they got re-painted in black. They do look a lot better that way.

So maybe we get to see this one in blak looking a lot better one day too.

Yes, like the "Twelfth Ocean" - but does not really make them look better :-) Will see - I am of course aware that these ships are not built to please our eyes, but still, the aesthetic sense does play a role and can't be kept quiet so easily.
