PIPPILOTTA was built 1933 by the Elsflether Schiffswerft, Elsfleth (D) as the 2-masted herring logger ERIKA. 1957 sold to Norway and rebuilt to a motor coaster, retaining her name ERIKA, later used as a supply vessel for oil platforms. Hartwig Schröder acquired her in 1990 and had her rebuilt in Norway and Germany to the 3-masted gaff schooner PIPPILOTTA until 1992. She is operated by Traditionsschiff Pippilotta Petrine e.V. Her port of registry is Hamburg (D), her base is at Kappeln (D) on the Schlei fjord.
