"Juliett 484" was the "star" of the Harrison Ford movie K-19: The Widowmaker". The submarine had been a tourist attraction in Florida, and was towed to Halifax, Canada by an Atlantic Towing tug.The movie was shot in Halifax, N.S., and on completion of the shoot, "Juliett 484" was sold to the Maritime Museum in New York, and towed there by an Atlantic Towing tug. As this took place just after 9/11, the USCG sent a team to Halifax to do a very thorough inspection.
