Hi Neil

I absolutely love this photo. The angle, the lighting, the clouds (and even the seagulls) give it a real sense of drama and atmosphere.

Rowangarth is also my favourite boat on the river (is it wrong to have a favourite boat???).

I'd happily have it framed and on the wall of my lounge!

Best Regards

Jason

Hi Guys

My original comment was not a criticism as such - it was heads up to a fellow Tyne watcher that the Site Standards require the horizon to be straight :-)

Hi Neil

Nice angle - were you on the Yarm Cross by any chance

One thing to remember is to manipulate your photographs so that the horizon is straight - bit of a slope on this one. Chuck the photo into a edit package - even the free Picasso 2 will sort out the horizon for you. Give me a shout if you need help on how to do this.

Hi Neil

If you do decide to straighten the shot up you will need to delete the entry and upload again.

By the way - very slack time on the River today - nothing much moving :-?

Steve Ellwood

Ok thanks for that info Steve,I'll be more careful the next time I upload a photo, yes it seems to be and the weather isn't much good either.
Cheers
