Description:
LEPETA was one of the series of 300000dwt approx VLCCs built for Shell in the mid 1970s by Harland & Wolff at Belfast.Can/t remember all her sisters but LAMPAS,LIMA spring to mind.
This was taken in June 1976 from atop of UGANDA/S bridge,there disembarking schoolchildren following a cruise.

Thanks Paul for this great picture, My first ship was the 9000ton Shell tanker Limatula, the 2nd Limatula was a 320000 ton giant probably a sister ship of the Lepeta.
