I worked on the rig in 2002 when the rig was at this location. My job was to operate the fast rescue boat, as there were a lot of guys working over the side. One morning, I went to take over from my relief. When I asked where the fast rescue boat was, I was told it was tied up underneath the rig. This would have been OK if the water level had not risen due to the high tide, unfortunately, it had. In spite of being submerged for 3 hours, once I was able to recover the boat, it was fine.
