Description:
A vessel with a checkered career.Built as cruiseferry "Viking Saga" in 1980, renamed Sally Albatross and rebuilt in 1986 as cruise ship. Destroyed by fire in 1990, rebuilt and reentered service in 1992. Partially sank in 1994, refloated, repaired and renamed Leeward. Then renamed Superstar Taurus, and Silja Opera before being laid up for a year as Opera. Present owners in 2007. Seen here at Mykonos Greece 29th September 2008.
