That's nice!

She's kind of special to me.
She was the first vessel I photographed when I decided to make a hobby out of taking ship photos back in 2006. She was berthed at Hamburg Cruise Center and I decided to grab my small € 100 digital camera to shoot her. That was on March, 28, 2006...

Nice memories... thanks for posting this one! :-)

Well, you're stories are a lot more interesting...

But you're photo of Midnatsol and my nice memories attached to her saved my day a little. Might sound strange, but I'm quite depressed about Maxim Gorkiy's end... :-(

Yeah, a real bummer, would so very much have liked to see that one in the steel-flesh, haha! as i wrote, i missed out on it with one hour, in the midnight sun this summer. THAT was a loss, i tell you that.

Thinking of your photos of (ah, damn I forgot, was it Ocean Monarch?) in the midnight sun... lovely!
That's a REAL pity you missed out on Maxim Gorkiy then...
But you got QE2, that one I never saw in the flesh.
But I'm planning to save my money and make a trip to Dubai - when I'm retired in 2031! :-D
