I remember this vessel from 1983/84. She came to Guyana to load Bauxite. Back then the Guyana Government owned the two Bauxite plants. Linmine and Bermine.
Bermine was located on the Berbice River in an area called Everton. My father and I were on a tanker named Trade Wind which we were taking out to sea. The M.S was inbound when past her in the Berbice River Channel about 1.5 NM from the River's mouth. They nearly collide that day. But that's another story.
