Quite a number of this cvlass were built and frankly they were and are poor ships. Too long for the staple US.Gulf / Japan trade - loa abt. 249m and very heavy on fuel oil consumption and don't even mention the gas oil consumption. Most have problems running their auxiliaries on diesel. Average consumption per days was 6mt ., gas oil but, with some due fine tuning and a bit of blending with fuel oil you can get it down to abt. 3 mt. gas oil which still too much. The quicker they go to Alang the better :-D
