Description:
After departing from Fos Sur Mer bound to Livorno with a wheat cargo, this little turkish vessel ran aground on the Planier Islet, close to Marseille, during the night between January 20th and 21th. After unsuccessful towing attempts, the vessel eventualy managed to release itself and proceed to Marseille to assess the damages. The ship is possibly damaged, judging from the way the bow is digging into the water.
Seen here in Marseille, today January 22nd 2008.
