Description:
Arriving Kotka, Finland in the evening on 22/02/2009. IMO: 9070931 Call sign: LAHH7 Ex: NOVOROSSIYSK (04) Operator: Wallenius Wilhelmsen

Note 1: After her last visit in Kotka, she has been reflagged from Bahamas to Norway Int. Reg. (NIS).

Note 2: This is a bit tricky vessel to categorize, itīs converted from a ro-ro cargo ship to a PCTC/ro-ro in China in 2005. Similarly as the Wilhelmsenīs TAMPA, TARONGA, TOBA, TAMPERE etc. Therefore choose the vehicle category for this. But apparently ro-ro is not a mistake as well.

Yeah thatīs true. Until last Sunday this vessel was a bit painful one to catch as first when saw her underway it was sleeting like hell and then was this getting dark passage. :-D

Taken under these circumstances one can recognize the expert photographer! :-)
And better a few shots than none...

Thanks Jens. Man, how difficult it was taking the pics as it was already pretty dark and the vessel passed quite fast. Only few shots managed properly.

Very, very nice, Pekka, especially with that red touch on the ice!
