Just to drop a note that this ship has a mystery in my memories.

I saw her about 1980 near Mimizan Plage. She was upright and broken in two - the stern was twisted about 180 degrees.

I can't explain to myself if I see here rolled that much and being in one piece ...

Wow! Amazing pic. I saw this ship anchored in the Solent in May 76 as a young lad. I had no idea she was wrecked only a few months later.
