They slowed down for a tug and barge loading corn, and a laker unloading, normal speed is 6 knots I believe, the pilot on the BBC Plata was Telling the Captain of the Atlantic Huron over the vhf radio he had stopped his engine but the wind was pushing the vessel at 3.9 knots. Yes lovely perspective here Kent. Looks like the ships go fairly slow here to avoid wash damage to the banks?
