Hei Tomas, mange takk!

Dessverre snakker jeg ikke språket ditt, so I'll keep commenting on your photos in English. Judging from what I've seen Norwegian seems to be rather difficult to learn.
Someone told me there is no "official" Norwegian language. but a lot of dialect depending on where you live in Norway. Is this true?
By the way, how do you pronounce the word "Hole" (as a surname) in Norwegian?
Should it sound like the English word "holy"? :-?
