NOVOMIR 2 (RUS / 1966 / 14265gt / IMO6620979), ex GENERAL BOCHAROV, anchored at Fos-sur-Mer, November 1991.
On June 6th 1971, off the South coast of Spain, as GENERAL BOCHAROV, she went in collision with French destroyer SURCOUF, which later brake in two parts. Ten sailors lost their lives. The forepart sank, the aftpart was towed to Algeciras, then Toulon.
