Sad to see her final fate running aground in the Bay of Plenty near New Zealand this week.

First of seven sister ship made for ZIM in HDW Germany.Construction start in 1990. Ship is powered with Sulzer 8RTA76 made in Poland.On main propelo shaft have AEG generator an two on disel oil Yanmar(6cyl.).Ship have a anti- rolling sistem which prowide sea servica without rolling.In 2007 on routine crank case inspiction enginners found few cracks on crosshead bearings suporters.Have lift in all flors in engine room and five star accomodation. What alse... Good pictures for goog ship.Sister ships-zim canada.zim hong kong,japan sea(ex zim japan),zim korea,zim itali,zim israel.Still in service and for ZIM. Best regards.
