Description:

Two recent transfers from the River Humber to the River Thames Adsteam's tugs LADY CECILIA 364-1991 IMO 8919207 & LADY SARAH 364-1991 IMO 8919192 running alongside the Dal Kalahari which they have just assisted from the berth.
Note that they are both going astern which is quite often done and also they are still registered at Grimsby !!Seen on July 19th 2005

Great shot Ken but I have to say I don't find these two new arrivals to the Thames at all aesthetically pleasing.
Ahhh for the likes of Vanquisher and Avenger in the days of yore..... at least they didn't go everywhere backwards :lol:

I agree John, somehow they don't look the part to handle the large containers.
Tell you a story, on Saturday I think Cobham was on the front of Contship Australis with a line on, a foreign guy says to me how can that small ship pull the big one, has the big one broken !!,
I did my best to explain but I dont think he understood, I had to smile.
