Description:

Canadian Naval Coastal Defence Vessel HMCS Saskatoon, #709, Off Ogden Point Victoria B.C. Canada, 6/23/05 1317hrs. The Saskatoon is of the Kingston Class of Maritime Coastal Defence Vessels, and the second to bear that name. The first HMCS Saskatoon was a Flower Class Corvette Launched in 1941 and paid off in 1945 ending her career apparently as a Japaneese whaling ship in the late 70's.
