I sailed on her as a child, I remember being taken around and there was an escalator on board. If I remember, it was not for passenger use. I have seen it on deck plans...can anybody shed some light and by chance have a picture ?

Now there's a ship! The last real British ocean liner, when she returned to the UK after this it was all over forever.
