In Canadian service, she is a both cruise ship & ferry. When she operates out of Montréal, she carries roro cargo and passengers to the Magdalen Islands. The passengers are mainly tourists who visit the islands during the summer months and then return home often during the same trip. This year (2006), there are weekly Friday departures from Montréal starting on June 9 and ending on September 22 with stops at Chandler and Québec City
In winter, she works out of Matane and often conducts winter cruises in the Gulf of St.Lawrence.
In CTMA service, she is described as a cruise ship and not a ferry.
