Cement Carriers | Description: | 11.06.2009 - Leaving Brest after a call for reparing a waterway.
The cement-carrier Mario-M . arrived on May 29th evening at Brest, in trailer of Abeille-Bourbon, to determine the origin of the waterway noticed in the stern peak of the ship, under the propeller of bow. The cement carrier, who carried five names since 2002, year of his construction, was called, last year, Crete-Cement.
It is under this name that on November 19th last year, she made wreck for Fagerstrand, near Oslo, in Norway. Raised by the Smit company , she must be voluntarily failed again, several breaches having been noticed in the hull. The one of them, who would present again a failure, could be at the origin of the average which led the ship to Brest.
