15.06.2009 - Leaving Brest.
This training ship, cutter with rigging aurique, similar to the tuna boats of Sables d'Olonne, was launched on March 19th, 1927 and comissionned on June 10th.
She serves, until 1939 to the formation of the pilots of the Fleet at the piloting School of Saint Servan.
In 1940, she escapes towards Plymouth. Until 1942, under British flag, she participates in missions of espionage and conveying, where she transships men come from France. Then, she is sent during year 1942 to the Mediterranean Sea, where she is going to make there diverse missions of information, mainly on the coasts of the Lebanon. At the end of the hostilities, of return in France in 1946, she finds the school of the piloting.
She is allocated to the group of the schools of Poulmic, unit in which it is always up to the highly-rated of schooners Etoile and Belle Poule. Her main missions are the instruction for the benefit of the trainee officers of the french naval academy and the representation.
She is the oldest ship of French Navy in service.
