VanEnkevort Tug and Barge plans on building a sistership tug and barge to GREAT LAKES TRADER at the Metro Machine Building in Erie. If, as expected, the Erie Western Pennsylvania Port Authority approves their lease at their August 12 meeting, construction of the new unit could begin as early as this December.
